Day 35 - Dormers are tiled, plywood sides added. Insulation is now going up. Dust in house has trippled and now regretting staying in the house.

Day 28 - Second dormer in, both need tiling but the final shape of the roof can now be seen. Windows ordered. First fit electrics are in, power points, lights and switch points add another dimension to the rooms. Next big thing is the flooring to be added, which should minimise the amount of daily dust we are getting below. It should also help keep the warmth in.

Day 26 - first dormer completed at the back. Window is huge and the views are stunning (short lived though as house below doing a floor extension - hey ho)
Dormer opens up the small room conciderably and the light is fantastic. Looking forward to the second one beong completed, as that is in our room.

Day 22 - The stud walls have been completed, so that we can work through the rooms and gauge size and shape. Very exciting stuff.

Day 18 - Both ends of the roof have been completed and the tiles reused to blend in the extension. still not water tight but certainly better than nothing. The floor joist are complete and the front wall built and repainted. With the rebuilding of the wall we have enlarged the window size and done away with the velux window so to reduce noise if it rains.
